HALL MANAGER at Crowle Parish Hall - 15 hours per week, £9.15 per hour

(role may be split to get the right combination of skills and experience)

Crowle Parish Hall Trust is looking for one or more people to run and maintain the Parish Hall. There are a variety of duties covering administration, customer and contract management, maintaining health and safety standards, cleaning and basic maintenance. The Trust is run by a team of dedicated volunteers who are available to offer support and guidance as needed.  We are open to applications from anyone who is interested in either all or part of these duties. Read the full job description

The job holder will be the primary contact point for enquiries and bookings related to the Crowle Parish Hall. This will include facilitating viewings, managing bookings, invoicing and ongoing liaison with hirers pre- and post-booking, as well as overseeing work completed by contractors on site, such as cleaners. Ensuring that the hall facilities are properly maintained and are kept safe, clean and secure is an important part of the job.

Some of the duties can be done at any time and from any location to suit the job holder, however, some will be in response to customer needs. This may include providing telephone or onsite support for hirers during hall opening hours, which includes evenings and weekends. Maintenance and cleaning activities may need to be carried out when the hall is empty too, so some flexibility to do this is expected. Given the nature of the role, the ideal candidate(s) will live within a reasonable distance of Crowle Parish Hall.

If you would like a no-obligation chat about this role or have any questions, please contact Ruth Dawson-Jones on 01905 381586. To apply, please submit your CV and a covering letter, stating if you are interested in the whole role or only specific parts of it, to rdj@crowleparishhall.org by no later than Sunday 10th January 2021.
