Changing Rooms and Playing Field

The Parish Hall is fortunate to be located opposite the Crowle Playing Field, managed by the Parish Council.  The playing fields boast a number of football pitches alongside, nets, tennis courts and an outdoor bowls pitch.

As part of the Wellbeing project the field has some new additions, these include:

  • a ‘trim trail’ around the perimeter of the playing field for runners, joggers, young children learning to ride bikes, walkers (with and without dogs) and anyone wishing not to get muddy (i.e. everyone really!)

  • an all-weather multi-use games area offering basketball, netball, tennis, football skills development, and PE activities and related games for local children’s groups

  • a covered area to facilitate outdoor activities in poor weather by children’s groups, and also to provide a convenient shelter for those overseeing children on the existing play area or watching sport

  • picnic tables with seating, sited around the outside of the playing field for those either watching sport or simply enjoying outdoor leisure.

The new Platinum hall also has a public, outdoor toilet next to the track down to the field.

Changing rooms are available for hire, one male and one female at a cost of £10 per session.  The changing rooms are accessible via a separate entrance in order to allow easy access on and off the field.

The playing fields are available to hire through the hall with a voluntary contribution that goes to Crowle Parish Council. For further details please contact our Hall Manager.

The playing fields are home to the Crowle Searchers Football Club.  If you have a budding young footballer who'd like to join a local team please contact Adrian Coleman: adrian.coleman@outlook.com.
